Bishop “Disrupters” v Christians & Patriots In Coming Riots & Civil War?
San Diego Bishop tells Catholics to ‘All Become Distrupters,’ endorsing the Vatican strategy of disrupton being used across the nation to oppose the new administration of President Trump, according to Newsmax.
This is against Bible teaching to “be subject to the higher powers” in a letter address to the church at Rome, Romans 13. The Bible recognizes God as the highest power, and in a clash with government, the apostles said, “We ought to obey God rather than man.” Law and order should prevail.
Why should bishops incite the lawless elements of society, such as seen in riots with burning and looting? There is no property owner that wants to see this coming to America.
The Bible says “we reap what we sow.” America is sowing the wind and will reap the whirlwind that will blow our house of cards apart, because anything thing not based on Bible principles will be washed away in a storm that will be relentless.
Like it or not, the election was won on behalf of those favoring a more controlled society without people coming here illegally. A friend asked a Catholic couple why they moved to Montana. “Because the priest told us to” was the answer. Will they also become disruptive when the priest says so?
Let’s not divide Catholics v Protestants and patriots. There are millions of Catholics who live up to the light they have, and in that sense, they are good Christians. Now is not the time to become political activists and join the disruptive elements who can’t tolerate a lost election.
The government in Christ’s time was corrupt and oppressive. “On every hand were crying abuses,—extortion, intolerance, and grinding cruelty.” But the Savior wasn’t involved in a social gospel. “He attempted no civil reforms. He attacked no national abuses…He did not interfere with the authority or administration of those in power…He knew the remedy did not lie in merely human and external measures …The cure must reach men individually and regenerate the heart.” Ellen White, The Desire of Ages, p 509.
By sharp contrast, Roman Catholicism seeks to use governments to enforce their laws and dogma. “The Church ought to be in union with the State, and the State with the Church.” Article 55 of Pope Pius IX, Syllabus of Errors. Roman Catholicism by Dr. Loraine Boettner, Presbyterian & Reformed Publ Co. http://www.tlchrist.info/keithgreen/boettner_romancatholocism.pdf (page 23 offers amazing insight)
This was behind 80 million Protestants who died for their faith and why others risked death at sea, or by starvation in the New World. God blessed America for its freedom of a government not run by the church while every country in Latin America has poverty and lacks education–a hallmark of those countries colonized by priests at the same time as the US began.
Now is not the time to listen to the Bishops and be disruptive. It’s time to listen to God’s warning to us, “Babylon is fallen–come out of her, My people.” Revelation 18. And what is Babylon? It’s the name of the harlot in the previous chapter that’s in bed with kings of the earth, a church involved in politics and much more, seen in the video below.
