Vatican Abuse Prevention ‘Extremely Important’ – Why Not Castration As A Biblical Solution?
With 60 million children in US Catholic schools, prevention is crucial. (Catholic News Agency) But is the church ready for Christ’s suggestion of castration?
In His Sermon on the Mount, Christ said, “whoever looks on a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart. And if your right eye offend you, pluck it out, and cast it from you: for it is profitable for you that one of your members should perish, and not that your whole body should be cast into hell. And if your right hand offend you, cut it off, and cast it from you: for it is profitable for you that one of your members should perish, and not that your whole body should be cast into hell.” Matthew 5:29,30
But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Matthew 18:6
Priests and bishops should be informed of a new policy, that if there is a report that is verified, they will have to be castrated as Christ suggested—“ there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.” Matthew 19:12.
A Catholic priest told this writer in 1970 that sexual immorality was widespread in the priesthood. The context was a discussion of homosexuality.
