Why Christian Patriots Defending Gun Rights May Die Needlessly: Part II
“Egypt enslaved Israel and the US has done it to millions with alcohol, tobacco, drugs (medical care is a leading cause of death), gambling, TV, Hollywood, rock music, sex and perversions enslave most of America as we celebrate our freedoms to die as we please without symptoms,” says Dr. Richard Ruhling, author on Bible prophecy.
Christ spent more time in Galilee with patriots than in Jerusalem with religious bigots. But rather than foment patriotic fervor against Rome, His Sermon on the Mount gave attitudes (called beattitudes) that rebuked many patriots who hated the Romans, and Pilate reacted to their hatred, mingling their blood with their sacrifices, Luke 13:1.
Heeding Christ’s message could have spared them, and a better understanding of His warning could save many in our time. Early believers understood His warning of an abomination “standing where it ought not” (Mark 13:14) to be the Roman army and they fled Jerusalem several years before Titus began his siege in 70 AD.
2015 saw a military drill along with Rome–the pope visited Congress, “standing where [he] ought not” because he believes the church should rule the government. But if we were to flee, where should we go? Those who study survival say rural areas offer better protection than high population density where martial law will focus in a calamity. A rural location is like Goshen in Egypt, just temporary…
Bible truth could save the patriots willing to die for America when it won’t work. Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel and Revelation all have a different picture than what most patriots have in mind. We will scan them in that order.
- God will cause Israel and Judah to return to the Middle East, “though I make a full end of all nations…I will not make a full end of you…in the latter day you shall consider it.” Jer 30:3,11,24 This is amplified in the next chapter: 31:8,10,16,17,31. We forget that Solomon’s kingdom was divided into Judah (two tribes) and Israel (10 northern tribes that went into apostasy, taken captive by Assyria and then scattered among the nations, many migrating to Europe, later intermarrying with Christians and fleeing the papal oppression for freedom in the New World. America as a Christian nation is in this sense ‘Israel’ and Jews in the Middle East are Judah.
- God’s intent is to put both Israel and Judah together after a great “shaking” in Ezekiel 37:7 as dry bones come together and get life; and two sticks become one kingdom; verses 16,17,22. Christians who accept the biblical laws and Jews who accept Messiah will be fully compatible. The ‘shaking’ is an earthquake that initiates the end-time ‘day of the Lord’ as seen in Joel 2:10.
- Daniel 2 shows the kingdoms of this world, and in the “toes of time” the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will smash the kingdoms of this world to chaff that gets blown away, v 35,44.
- Early Americans believed the ‘sea’ beast in Revelation 13 represented the papacy, and they formed a Protestant nation that kept the church out of government, unlike all Latin American countries, and God blessed America, represented as a 2nd (land) beast. Here are some clues: As a nation conquers another, it assimilates its culture and practices. Thus the papacy was an amalgamation of the 4 beasts that it survived from Daniel 7 where it grew out of the 4th beast, Rome, but it had a “deadly wound” as Napoleon took the pope captive* after the Protestant Reformation. The deadly wound healed and the world “wonders after the beast,” Rev 13:3,10.
In the setting of the pope’s “captivity” (Rev:13:10, 1798*) the US ratifies a Protestant Constitution
and is represented as a ‘lamb-like’ beast with two horns—a government without a king and a church without a pope. A lamb is a symbol of Christ, but it causes fire to come from the sky (Hiroshima) and causes the world to make an image (look alike) to the previous (papal) beast of the Old World. UN New World Order is the image that’s forming and it will include false worship as Rev 13:15-18 shows.
To avoid the ‘mark of the beast’ and the plagues as a consequence, Christians (defined as Israel by the above history) should seek to be part of the kingdom that God will set up, as the above texts show
But first, events will scatter Jews out of Jerusalem (Zech 14:1,2) and Christians out of US cities as they flee in obedience to Christ’s warning that early believers understood was military, Zech 1:19-21; Mk 13:14. When they saw the Roman army, they fled Jerusalem and were spared the siege by Titus.
When an earthquake initiates the end-times and martial law is being set up, Christians in the cities should do as early believers and flee to the country, prior to the gathering promised by God in the above passages.
A huge repeat of history is impending. The greatest event of the Old Testament was the Exodus from Egypt. Egypt murdered hundreds of babies in Exodus 1. The US has murdered 60 million in the womb, and we profess to be a “Christian” nation.
Egypt enslaved God’s people. The US has enslaved most of our population with alcohol, tobacco, caffeine, prescription drugs falsely called “healthcare.” The media love drug money and say nothing about how adverse drug reactions have made medical care a leading cause of illness and death, says Ruhling, a board-certified internist who taught Health Science at Loma Linda University, 1974-78.
US bondage includes addiction to gambling, TV and Hollywood, rock music, crime, sex, perversions with such fascination that some want taxes to pay for their sex change, as they celebrate their freedom to die as they please without symptoms.
God afflicted Egypt with judgment and took Israel to a covenant, later saying, “I am married to you,” Jer 3:14. That’s how we marry Christ as Bridegroom, but we forget that the covenant involved that land. Christians think they get a “new covenant,” but they are shallow Bible students and haven’t looked at the context: Jer 31:8,10,16,17,31 & Ezek 36:24-28. Nevertheless, it’s good news because this country is coming to a full end, Jer 30:3,11.
We laugh at Israel because after God did huge things to deliver them from Egypt, they were afraid of the giants in the Promised Land. But our turn is coming. Can we trust God to take care of the giant problems in our time?
