Fraud Alert: Blaydon Part Exchange Centre
Blaydon Part Exchange Centre is facing a public backlash over the selling of faulty vehicles.
Located in Blaydon-on-Tyne, Tyne & Wear, Blaydon Part Exchange, managed by Mark and James, has today come under fire after the pair sold a Chevrolet Matiz, describing the vehicle as “looks and drives perfectly” and after they issued the vehicle a 12-month MOT through a closely held MOT station operating from their premises, which declared the vehicle road-worthy.
The vehicle is in fact dangerous to drive.
Repairs to make the vehicle have cost the unsuspecting buyer more than £500, more than one-third of the cost of the vehicle.
Blaydon Part Exchange refused to accept the car back and refused to collect it as it was undrivable.
A County Court claim has been filed against Blaydon Part Exchange and the MOT Station has been reported to the relevant authority.
