Obama’s Truth On Ukraine

President of the USA Mr. Barack Obama called President-elect of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych on February 11, 2010:

President Obama called Victor Yanukovych of Ukraine today to congratulate him on his election and wish him success in carrying out his mandate. The President commended the Ukrainian people on the conduct of their February 7 vote. This peaceful expression of the political will of Ukrainian voters is another positive step in strengthening democracy in Ukraine. They agreed on the importance of continuing cooperation on nuclear non-proliferation. They also wished each other’s athletes success in the Vancouver Olympic Games.
The strategic partnership between the United States and Ukraine is based on shared interests and values. These include expanding democracy and prosperity, protecting security and territorial integrity, strengthening the rule of law, promoting non-proliferation, and supporting reform in Ukraine’s economic and energy sectors. The United States looks forward to working with President-elect Yanukovych and continuing to strengthen our cooperation with Ukraine’s government and its Parliamentary leaders.

President of the USA Mr. Barack Obama and President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych spoke at the Nuclear Security Summit in Seoul, South Korea, on March 27, 2012:

President Obama expressed appreciation to President Yanukovych and the Ukrainian people for the complete removal of highly enriched uranium from their country as a sign of Ukraine’s continuing courageous leadership on nuclear security. The leaders agreed this is an important step towards securing all vulnerable nuclear materials and is an important milestone for global security. The President underscored the importance of demonstrating the vitality of Ukrainian democracy by ensuring free, fair, and transparent parliamentary elections in October. The President also raised U.S. concerns about selective prosecutions of the political opposition.

President of the USA Mr. Barack Obama said to CBS’ Steve Kroft in his recent interview:

When I came into office, Ukraine was governed by a corrupt ruler who was a stooge of Mr. Putin.

Wow! Americans should be proud they have such a Chuck Norris of truth and John Rambo of straightforwardness in the White House!

Well, I am absolutely sure Yanukovych was corrupt, indeed. Though I doubt he was a considerably more corrupt state leader than many others whether in Europe or anywhere else, North America not an exception.

Suffice it to say that all Ukrainian Presidents (and President Putin of Russia, for the matter) were elected in truly democratic direct elections, something the people of the world’s leading “democracy” still do not know.

What I have no doubt at all is that… it was Yushchenko who ruled Ukraine at the time Obama entered the White House. That very Yushchenko who was so strongly supported by the USA way back in 2004, during the first, “orange” series of maidan.

Sooooo courageous of you, Mr. President, to admit and confirm he was corrupt, after all that support the USA and EU rendered to him. However, it looks like we have missed something.

When did your stooge become that of Putin, I wonder?
