Deputy Secretary of State Sullivan John J. Sullivan spoke by phone last night in Washington D.C. with the newly appointed Republic of Korea Vice (ROK) Foreign Minister Cho Sei-young.

The Deputy Secretary and the Vice Foreign Minister reaffirmed their commitment to the final, fully verified denuclearization of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the importance of U.S.-ROK -Japan trilateral cooperation, and to continue working closely together to address common security challenges in the Indo-Pacific region.
